“Circus Susie” begins in Bunty #55 (January 31, 1959).
Looks like this was reprinted in 1971. I have a Dutch reprint in Debbie #37 (1983) that runs episodes 7 August 1971 until 2 October 1971. It does not list a title code, but the dates correspond with Bunty #708-716.

Ramon, you are correct about Circus Susie being in Bunty #708-716. However, it a completely different story. The original is about Susie Nelson who inherits and runs a circus. The one from 1971 is about a girl named Susie Carter who cares for the animals for Sharp’s Circus where her grandmother is wardrobe mistress.
Ah, what are the odds of it not being a reprint? So the title was exactly the same? Mindboggling that the editors thought that was a good idea!

Ramon
There are a few other times that they have used the same title twice. I don’t know if they thought that no one would notice, or that the editors forgot that they had used the title before.
There is a 12 year gap so quite possible they didn’t remember the earlier serial, but also titles were re-used often, off the top of my head I can think of three different serials named “Bad Penny”, Bunty had 2 different serials called “The Queen Who Wasn’t” just a year apart!
