Plot

During World War II, Vickie Collins joined up with the Volunteery Aid Detatchment (VAD). The (VAD) was a voluntary unit of civilians providing nursing care for military personnel in the United Kingdom. When she got posted to the Convalescent Hospital in Burnside, she was happy her new friend Betty was also posted there.
