Soldier Sally

Plot:

In 1940, Selina Howard (who goes by nickname Sally), joins the A.T.S. ( Auxiliary Territorial Service) to help with the war effort. She does not make a good first impression on Sergeant Rathbone, Sally is determined not to be just another number and to keep her individuality, she is not afraid to speak up, which is lucky for a new friend when she falls sick with appendicitis and Sally goes over her Corporal to get a medical assistance.

Sally proves her worth and later returns in a sequel Lance-Corporal Sally.
