Peg Duncan, an orphan, was determined to turn her dog, Shep into a champion sheepdog. When Peg lost her job on Major Keane’s estate, her Uncle Dan told the girl who would have nothing more to do with her. Peg set out to prove she could manage on her own, after coming second in a Sheepdog Trial, she started to work with Mr Evans of Westdale Farm.
A story narrated by a pup Billy. While his owner Sally prepares him for shows her mother’s dog Stan and Afghan was not happy to see Billy getting attention.

In 1882, Abigail Courage is left orphaned after terrible storms flooded the American Flatlands and her house is destroyed. Her dog Sabre also survives the flooding but is stolen from her soon after. Abigail vows to find him and begins a perilous journey across dangerous mountains.
Early in the Second World War, Petra, a gipsy girl, was doing a circus act in France with her performing dogs, Leo, Pip and Tiki. When the Germans overran France the circus was destroyed, and Petra and her dogs became refugees. Helping a wounded British pilot, she makes contact with the French Resistance.
A short humour strip that follows a Scottie dog. At one time if you joined the Bunty Club, you would get a “Haggis” pin. From the first Bunty Annual in 1960 up to 1972 the covers featured a black Scottie dog in the corner of the frame, but it would be a long time that he got a strip in the weekly issues/annuals.

Mary Nelson is confined to a wheelchair and lives with her mother on the 14th floor of a block of flats. The Caretaker Mr Henry has a strict “no dogs allowed” policy, but when Mary finds a stray dog she smuggles him into the flat. There are two strange men that are intent on taking the dog for some unknown reason.
Lucy Wilson secretly raises an oddly coloured greyhound, Lightning, the weakling of the litter, against her cruel stepfather’s wishes.
Sally Jordan befriends a stray dog , Mojo, who turns out to be a talking dog from the Milky Way.
