Plot

Linda King tours clubs and theatres with her parents, King and Queenie. They abuse her and do not allow her to express her talent for singing or mix with other people. Linda begins to suspect there is some mystery about her past when she recognises a house in Hanworth as her old home. The mystery deepens when Linda discovers her family records and finds that “Linda” is nearly eighteen, but she is only thirteen.
