Plot
When Sir James Morton, a famous actor, gave a disastrous first night performance due to overwork and strain, the critics were very hard on him. He vowed never to act again and he and his daughter Phyllis rented a cottage in country. Phyllis knew her father would never be truly happy away from the stage and was trying to get him back into the theatre as soon as possible.
