Plot

Joanne French is the new games mistress at the Harold  Plackett School. The Headmistress, Miss Crossley, is against games and has challenged Joanne to get the hockey team into the finals of a local tournament or have games cut from the syllabus. But the team does well, and the Head arranges an accident—to keep Joanne off the sports field.
