Second Best Babs

Plot:

Babs and Betty Cartwright are identical twins who were seldom apart, until Babs failed an exam and was sent to a different school to her sister. From that day on Betty receives all her parents’ attention while Babs is often neglected and frequently in trouble.

Plot:

Carol Parker’s ambition is to be a gymnast, her talent doesn’t please her sister Elaine who is also training to be a gymnast. Carol’s mother an ex-ballerina is also upset as she wants Carol to follow in her footsteps.

Plot

Robyn West had a happy life with her kind well-off parents who adopted her when she was very young.  Then cruel spiteful Kate Baker, a new girl at school discovered they were sisters, who had been separated as babies. Robyn feared Kate would tell the Wests she was one of the family.

The Children Came Too!

Plot

When Jenny Smith’s father falls ill while abroad, Mrs. Smith flies out to look after him, leaving the children in the care of their Aunt Ivy.  Jenny is a keen athlete but finds it hard to train properly as Ivy refuses to look after the children when Jenny is not at school. So Jenny ends up having to take her younger siblings to training with her.

Plot:

Jane Grant has always known her mother favoured her younger sister Elizabeth, but when her father dies she discovers that she is adopted and her mother no longer feels she has a responsibility for her. The sisters are sent to school, Elizabeth is to be educated but Jane is to be a servant.
