Plot:

Julie Walker’s dream was that her divorced parents would get together again. But her dad became engaged to Grace Harvey whose daughter Karen was at school with Julie. The two girls couldn’t stand each other, which made Julie determined to break up the engagement.

Plot:

The Truth About Troy

Plot

It seemed like a dream come true when Emma Grant’s mum became personal secretary to pop star, Troy Mercury. But despite having a kind and caring public image, Emma had discovered that Troy was actually very selfish. However, Mum tells Emma to keep quiet about this because of her job.

Living A Lie!

Plot:

Claire Baxter started at Woodend School at the same time as the new headmaster, whose name was Mr Baxter. The School bullies, Laura and Tina thought  Claire was the Head’s daughter and so said they would leave Claire and her friends alone. The story spread, but the lie was causing problems for Claire.

Plot

Karen Morgan and Lynne Parsons were best friends and so were their mums. Then their mothers fell out over a book Mrs Morgan had written and they ordered their daughters to keep away from each other. But the girls were determined to continue their friendship.

Plot:

Thirteen year old Hannah Stanway had started up a horse haven for old and unwanted ponies at her parents farm. She had been tricked into looking after Blaze, a vicious pony, while his owner, Marnie, was away on holiday.

The Good Fairy [1990]

Plot

The Good Fairy programme was the most popular show on Children’s TV. Everyone loved happy, cuddly Aunt Jemima who acted as good fairy and and made all the children’s wishes come true. But it was really her assistant Lynn who did all the work and made the wishes come true, with the help of her colleague Lee.

Nellie Nightingale

Plot:

Nellie Nightingale was a poor orphan who sang for pennies on street corners. She fell into the clutches of Ma Bigsen, who made her believe she had killed someone. Nellie realised with horror that she was being used as a decoy for the evil woman’s gang of pickpockets. But then Nellie was spotted by Lady Millway who saw great potential in Nellie’s voice.
