Danger Doll

Plot

One evening when Jemma Johnson was babysitting Caroline a young girl, they got an unexpected visitor, a doll! Later there was a mysterious fire and Caroline and the doll disappeared. At first Jemma was blamed but when other children went missing, Jemma was asked to help solve the mystery.

Look After Lobelia

Plot:

A little girl called Lobelia had arrived mysteriously at the home of Professor Peterson. Nobody knew where she was from or why she was abandoned. Later at boarding school, Lobelia amazed everyone by winning the most awards on prize day and being selected school captain. However some of the girls believed Lobelia was an infant at heart  and hoped to get rid of her.

Plot:

Donna’s Donkeys

Plot:

After a trip to the seaside, Donna Williams returned with an old donkey which had been cruelly treated. Her parents were dismayed and put her story to the local newspaper in the hope of finding the donkey a new home. Instead Donna is left a hundred donkeys by an old woman who ran a donkey sanctuary and read the newspaper article before she died.

The Tears of Toto

Plot:

Before Sally Trent’s father died, he gave her  a clown statuette which she called Toto.  According to legend, the clown would cry real tears if great unhappiness was in store for its owner. This had actually happened when Sally’s relatives came to stay.

Maid Marian

Plot

A story about Maid Marian who lives in Sherwood forest with her husband Robin Hood and his band of outlaws.

Using the same character of legend, Maid Marian returned in a different series of stories in 70s and 80s. When Robin Hood left Sherwood Forest to prepare for the return of King Richard, Maid Marian took control of the  Merry Men.
