The adventures of a schoolgirl , Hannah and her hockey stick.  Sometimes her stick caused troubles other times it was very useful.

  • Sparky eventually merged with The Topper in 1977, although Hockey Hannah started appearing in Mandy before that. (Not confirmed if they were reprints or new stories)

Queen of the Caves

Plot

While on a trip to some caves, Miss Todd, a teacher and Molly a pupil discover a world of Stone Age people. They also find Professor Cronk an old teacher of Miss Todds’ that disappeared 15 years ago.  Molly Jackson  is hailed as their Queen because her hockey stick resemble the crooked club a symbol of tribal leadership.

Kirsty Smart’s family inherit Grimm’s Hotel, at the same time it is being run as a hotel for ghosts by the dead original owners. Only Kirsty can see the ghosts and has become good friends with Grisly a young ghost.

Bonnie and Claude

Plot:

Bonnie and Claude Plank are a pair of ballroom dancers who kidnap Laura Balmain for a ransom to start their own dance studio. She outwits them but then they save her from another kidnapper.  Her father gives them money for saving Laura, but they have to teach her to dance during Summer Holidays. The return in other series where they always seem to find trouble, luckily they are helped out by their young friend, Laura.

A humour strip, featuring a young girl.  It appeared first on part of a page with a text story taking up the rest of the page. Later it appeared on a page with selection of other humour strips.

  • It first appeared as wordless strip as title “Daisy Bell” it returned later with slightly modified title “Daisy Belle” and with speech bubbles.
