Plot

When Hetty Farlane and her mother arrive at Calder Towers for employment, she finds the house is haunted by an evil-looking woman and the children are behaving just as evilly towards her.

Plot:

Zelda Smith works with her cruel uncle and aunt in a fake mind-reading act and is billed as Princess Zelda. She runs away and is befriended by some urchins who take her for a real princess. She maintains the pretence to keep herself in hiding.

The Lonely Pony

Plot:

Cath Watson is allowed to rent Camilla Baxter-Smythe’s paddock for her horse Brantub because Camilla’s horse Desert Sands is lonely and needs company.  Cath does not get on so well with Camilla because she is a snob, but things begin to change as the girls train for show-jumping.
