Plot:
Orphan Cindy Ella is treated badly by Aunt Vera and her family. Their only interest is the pop group they run. Cindy is forced to sing backstage while the group’s vocalist Katey mimes. Benny, the drummer in the group and family friend, is the only one to be kind to Cindy.
Betty Jones inherits a dog called Butler. Butler dresses like a butler and even talks like one – but only Betty can understand him.

Laurie Scott falls into the power of a scientist who is somehow taking control of her mind and turning her into a genius while destroying her personality. She cannot remember how it happened, but then she finds Alicia, a girl who experienced the same thing and is beginning to remember.

Fiona Phillips’ grandfather is seriously injured when a fire breaks out in his studio. The fire also destroys some precious paintings of rare flowers. Fiona sets out to help replace the artwork by travelling the country to look for 10 of the rarest plants to draw from real life.
Sylvia Soames is trapped in a circus run by a cruel employer, Madame Minetti. She perfects a dangerous acrobatic act in the hope Madame Minetti will “sell” her to the circus run by the kindly Signor Costello. But then he dies and his circus is taken over by his nephew Guido. Guido is just as cruel as Madame Minetti, and now they are partners.
Masterbrain Laboratories develop Superbabe, a baby with super-strength. But they forget that when Superbabe’s strength is combined with his tantrums, this makes for trouble. Sue West, the laboratory assistant, is the only one who can keep Superbabe under control.
