Pryde of the Blues

Plot:

As captain of Blue House at St. Angela’s, Jill Pryde was following in the footsteps of her late mother, who had also won a scholarship to the school. Blue House had not won the House Cup since Jill’s mother had been captain over twenty years ago. Jill was determined to lead the Blues to victory, despite the scheming of Selma Parker, a member of Green House, who was equally determined her house should win by fair means or foul.

Bad Penny (1976)

Plot

When her parents died, Penny Kenton went to live with her Aunt Sue and Uncle John, whose daughter, Angela, was the same age as Penny. But Penny soon discovered that   Angela was jealous of her, and was secretly trying to make trouble.

Plot

The Two Faces of Faye

Plot

Isobel Carter didn’t realise that on her sixteenth birthday she would inherit a large legacy if she still had an unblemished character. However, her greedy cousin Faye, who lived with the Carters, knew of the legacy and also that the money would come to her should Isobel fail to fulfil the conditions of the will. So Faye began a secret campaign to get her cousin disgraced.

Circus Susie

Plot:

After the sudden death of her father, Susie Nelson took over the running of  Nelson’s Super Circus. The young girl was in danger from Ferro, the strongman, who had always wanted to own the circus and planned to get rid of her.  Luckily Susie also had a friend looking out for,  Carlo the clown.

A Twin for Toni

Plot:

Orphan Toni Downs was happily settled with her foster family when it was discovered she had a twin sister, Tammy. The Morrows foster Tammy as well and Toni is delighted at first, but then things start to go wrong as she found herself forever blamed for Tammy’s mishaps.
